Admitted Terrier Days

We are excited to welcome you to campus for Admitted Terrier Days. The dates for the Admitted Terrier Days are Friday, April 10, Saturday, April 11, and Friday, April 17. Students may register on the MyBU Applicant Portal. See below for more information and an overview of the schedule.

Admitted Terrier Days 2026

9:00 AM: Registration and Refreshments
Lobby, College of General Studies

After you check in, you will have the opportunity to enjoy some coffee, tea, and light refreshments and meet with current students and members of the College of General Studies (CGS) Student Services Team. Academic Advisors will be present to answer any academic questions and CGS Dean’s Hosts will offer folks a brief walking tour of our building.

A representative from the Office of Admissions will kick off the day, providing an overview of what the day holds for you.

10:15AM: Welcome from Dean McKnight

Natalie McKnight, Dean of the College of General Studies, will introduce you to the unique nature and mission of the College, as well as explore its history at Boston University (BU).

10:40AM: The CGS Learning Experience

CGS is known for its team-taught, interdisciplinary approach. To help illustrate what your learning experience will be like, our professors will hold a mini-lesson to demonstrate our engaging interdisciplinary curriculum.

11:15AM: A Closer Look at CGS and BU

Admitted students and parents will part ways for this session, in which we welcome any questions you may have about CGS and BU. Deans, faculty, current students, and CGS alumni will provide answers and share their experiences.

12:15PM: Lunch

CGS Dean’s Hosts will escort students, parents, and families to The Fresh Food Co. at West Campus for lunch.

1:00PM – 4:00PM: Open Campus

Explore Boston University’s campus at your leisure. Students will receive an Open Campus schedule with more information during Check-In.
